The first cria born to Thane's Neck Farm, Thane's Ben Nevis is a charmer and is the alpha male
among the crias. Ben is the son of Kilimanjaro, who's sire is the amazing Caligula! Ben's dam is a
Hemingway granddaughter through Hemingway's Tennessee. Ben has exceptional fleece, dense
and soft, with a very nice crimp. His name "Ben Nevis" comes from the tallest mountain in Great
Britain. A fitting name we thought coming out of Kilimanjaro.
Update: Ben suddenly died at six months old. We miss him very much.
